Special Event FAQ's

Thank you for considering Allusion Speakeasy as your event space. Our team is dedicated to providing excellent service and ensuring that your visit is unforgettable. We understand the importance of accommodating each individual guest as well as the group as a whole. To guarantee availability for your desired time and date we recommend providing at least six weeks notice for large parties. Our pricing for parties of 20 or more is based on a minimum spend, which we find to be a transparent and efficient approach.

What does a minimum spend mean? 

To put it simply, it refers to the minimum amount of money you need to spend on food and drinks during your event per hour. This pricing applies whether you have one check or separate checks as well. It’s not an additional fee or charge, but rather an assurance for the restaurant that they can cover their costs and staffing needs for the party while also meeting their usual sales from a regular night of service with typical reservations. 

For example, if the minimum spend is $200 hourly, this means that the group needs to spend at least $200 per hour on delicious food and refreshing drinks during your time in Allusion.  At the end of the party, if the sales meet the minimum total spend, there is no further charge on the bill except a 20% gratuity and tax added to the total amount.  If the total minimum hourly spend is not met at the end of your party, the difference is charged as a space usage fee and the 20% gratuity and tax is added to the final total with the space usage fee added.

How much is the minimum spend? 

Our pricing varies by season and what night of the week you would like to have your event.  Our current pricing is as follows:

On Monday and Tuesdays, we require a $25 minimum spend per person for up to a three hour event.

Wednesday we require a $250 minimum hourly for groups of 20 or more.

Thursday, the minimum is $350 per hour for groups of 20 or more.

Friday & Saturday is $900 per hour for groups of 20 or more.

Sunday is $600 per hour for groups of 20 or more.

If your party is between 9-19 people, our minimum spend is $20 per person for up to two hours. This pricing only applies to Monday-Thursday bookings. We do not book parties larger than 8 on weekends unless it's a private event of 20 people or more.
